Phase One: Initiation
As early as December 2023, we began planning the upgrade of Candice 2.0. This January, the upgrade plan officially launched. After a month of redesigning and molding, our R&D team finally produced the first sample. However, to our disappointment, the actual product was about 2 kilograms lighter than the original version, appearing slightly thinner, and the skin texture did not meet our expectations. Therefore, we decided to redesign to ensure there would be no significant weight deviation.
Phase 2: Adjustments and Improvements
By mid-March, we had completed the second version of the sample by finalizing the 3D model, re-sculpting the clay samples for the skin texture, and reviewing the soft hip effect. At this point, the overall shape and weight of Candice 2.0 was up to par. However, the results of the soft buttocks test were still not ideal. We paid close attention to the area of the soft buttocks and the smoothness of their articulation with the non-soft buttocks, in order to prevent the customer from feeling an obvious combination of softness and hardness. Since Candice's buttocks are smaller and less firm, it is much more difficult to make a soft butt than Daisy.
Phase Three: Final Optimization
By the end of March, the skin texture effect of Candice 2.0 was finally confirmed to meet our requirements for realism. However, the effect of the soft buttocks still needed optimization testing. We tested three versions of Candice's soft buttocks in total, each requiring about a week of time for adjustment and optimization. Finally, by the end of April, the fourth version of the soft buttocks passed our testing requirements, ensuring that the buttocks would not deform or flatten under external pressure and maintain good resilience. These efforts and challenges are all aimed at ensuring that our products meet the highest standards and provide the best experience for customers.
