If you've read the title, you might be thinking: "I get the 'joy' part, but what exactly does he mean with 'some effort'?" Well, in this review I'll be explaing what I mean by that and give some background info on 'my journey that led to this point'.

It's going to be a long read so if you just want a TL:DR (although very summarized), read the conclusion.

Disclaimer: I have fully paid for all the items I have stated below (shipping was free and in my case I didn't have to pay customs duties, the only thing I will receive in return for writing this review are Tantaly's "Renewal Powder" and "Renewal Powder Brush" per the ongoing offer at the time of writing this review, however I have earnestly & honestly stated my experiences with and thoughts on these products. And by the way English is not my first language so excuse any grammer, spelling or vocabulary mistakes I make.)

Finding Daisy

First things first I'll begin with my buying decision. It all started with me looking for way to enjoy myself without needing to invest a lot of time (I am in a busy period in my life). That meant a relationship was out of the question for now so that left me with one clear option, an adult toy. I must state that I already owned a 'fleshlight' from Tenga but over time I started to yearn for a toy that had some weight and structure to it to somewhat mimic the experience of doing the deed.

While browsing online I quickly stumbled upon adult dolls but those were a no-go to me since I PERSONALLY found them a little odd and didn't have the storage space and spare money (sheesh those things are expensive) for a full sized doll. However, while looking at full sized dolls I stumbled upon torso dolls and after doing a little bit of research I ended up at Tantaly where I learned about butt dolls. Apparently I happened to arrive at the perfect time since Tantaly now had 2 different butt dolls with their new tantabutt technology which I was immediately hooked on after seeing some vids here on this sub.

Now it came to choosing between Mia and Daisy. And as much as I loved Mia's concept (the removable tunnels for easier cleanup) I wanted to go for the doll that looked the most visually pleasing to me which was Daisy.

The arrival of Daisy

I pre-ordered (she was already sold out) Daisy somewhere around the 3rd of November from the DE Tantaly store (I live in the Netherlands) and she arrived on the 16th of November. Before ordering Daisy I was already aware of the size and weight of this doll so I had reserved some space in my closet to store her. But still, when she arrived I could only look in awe at the sheer size of the package (even the delivery person joked about it's size & weight).

Weighing 18,8kg (~41lbs) and the box being 57|48|40cm (~22|19|16 inch) [width|length|height] big she really took op quite some space and is not that easy to move since she on the bottom of my closet where I cant easily lift her up. I even ended up needing to move some stuff to even fit her there.

Using Daisy (joy)

When later at night I decided it was finally time to use my new favorite possession I started with unboxing her and the various accessories I had ordered with her (from Tantaly: UV-heating rod, water based lube and cleaning kit. from elsewhere: some cute & sexy underwear). As I said before, moving her is quite a chore due to her weight and storage location in my case, so I am sitll looking to make her a little more easily accessible. Unfortunately most of the underwear I ordered for her were a little too small (Medium) so next time I'll be getting some L & XL-size underwear for her.

Luckily my favorite piece of underwear managed to somewhat fit, it was a pair of panties with a cut-out crotch and it looked bootyful on her. I then warmed her up with the heating rod (15 minutes max.), lubed her up with the waterbased lube and lube injection tool from the cleaning kit and played some stimulating media to get myself going. I only managed to use her in doggystyle and pronebone position before the pleasure took over. I was very happy with the experience, it felt very nice to be able to pound into something 'stationary' and the recoil due to the tantabutt technology was very pleasing to the eye and when I found the right rythm she bounced back by herself, although I couldn't help but hold her little waist while thrusting.

A few additional things to note:

• I kept all boxes that were part of the delivered package for discrete storaging
• The styrofoam had been slightly damaged at one of the leg areas but nothing worth fussing about
• I needed to use a blanket to properly angle Daisy for comfortable usage

Cleaning Daisy (effort)

We have now reached the part of the review I believe most of you will be interested in, the 'effort' part. After being done with using Daisy I decided to start cleaning her up as soon as possible to prevent any fluids from getting more stuck than necessary. I luckily didn't make a mess so I could transport Daisy to my bathroom without getting my hands dirty, however even when using towels to hold on to her more easily it was still quite difficult to get a good hold of her. This is most likely because she has no built-in skeleton that properly keeps everything together.

Since I don't own a bathtub I had to lay her on the ground in my shower, but since I didn't want to risk her getting dirty or getting cuts from something I didn't see I had laid her on a towel which unfortunately had to be washed after I was done cleaning her.

I followed the cleaning instructions given by u/Clement-Y on a post from another user. I first started with cleaning her vaginal tunnel, since that was the only one I had used, with the 'portable sex doll washer' from the cleaning kit. I have no idea how I should've done it without that thing. I used hot water (below 50°C (122°F) as adviced) combined with some mixed in baby showergel since that guarantees it being mild soap. After using the mixed water 5 times I flushed the soap remnants by using the cold water instead (obviously making sure the doll washer had no remnants of soap left inside). Since I also was an idiot and left one of Daisy's legs to touch the shower floor I decided to just eniterly rinse her off with some lukewarm water. I then placed her with her hole facing down and gently shaked & squeezed her hips and tummy to remove some excessive water. After that I dried her exterior surface by tapping it with a towel (as to not accidently shave off some 'skin'). Then I gently inserted one of the absorbent sticks (20 minutes max.) from the cleaning kit and let her dry in a ventilated place. I checked the exterior and interior (as far as my fingers could reach) on dryness and put her back in the styrofoam box and storaged her accordingly. But if you read along with cleaning instructions you too would've noticed that I have been an idiot (once again) and forgot to apply renewal powder (in my case, baby powder). I'll be applying some the next time I take her out to play.

Maybe the entire process doesn't sound too bad to you but when looking back in retrospect I had only actively used her for a little over 10 minutes which made the 30+ minutes of cleaning, maintenance and storaging feel like an eternity. I do believe it's going to get better over time when I get more used to process but it will definetely be something I will consider before using her.

Conclusion

All in all Daisy is a wonderful butt doll and I have no regrets buying her, however I do believe you atleast need the accessoiries I mentioned before (-/- clothing) to easily use her. You should also seriously consider storage space, accessibility, cleaning and maintenance when buying her since these will be things that will impact your user experience with her.
